Amygdalin is mainly found in the apricots, bitter almonds, peaches, nectarines, alfalfa, plums, apples, black cherries ,nuts and leaves.White powder. Amygdalin is a ??-type glycoside composed of gentiobiose and biiter almond.The molecumlar formula is C20H27N011,and the molecular weight is 457.43. The triphydrate is an orthorhombic columnar crystal having a melting point of 200??,[??]:20D-42??.1g is soluble in 12ml water,900ml ethanol and 11ml ethanol,and is easily soluble in boiling water. A series of toxic reactions caused by the action of enzymes and acids in the digestive tract to release hydrocyanic acid and be absorbed into the blood by the mucous membrane. Hydrogen cyanide is a protoplast, cyanide ion can be combined with iron in cytochrome oxidase, resulting in inactivation of respiratory enzymes, tissue cells using oxygen to cause obstacles, tissue hypoxia and suffocation. Hydrogen cyanide also directly damages the respiratory center and vascular motion center of the medulla. |
