  Tetrasodium pyrophosphate, also called sodium pyrophosphate, sodium pyrophosphate anhydrous,tetra sodium diphosohate or TSPP, tetrasodium Pyrophosphate is white powder, or lumpy solid. Dissolves in water, easily soluble in acids, does not dissolve in mellow and ammonia. The aqueous solution assumes the alkali reaction.
